Dog Training Around the Marina
The Marina sits right on the bay between Fort Mason and the Presidio, with Chestnut Street for errands and Crissy Field for big open space. Training happens where your dog lives: Chestnut Street, the Marina Green, and Crissy Field.
Crissy Field
Dogs can be off leash under voice and sight control in set areas near the central beach and the grassy airfield.
Wildlife Protection Area
Along the Crissy Field shoreline, dogs must be on a 6-foot leash from July 1 to May 15.
Moscone Dog Play Area
A small official dog play area on the west side of Moscone Park, by the tennis courts.
The Presidio
Next door. Dogs are leashed in most areas, and some trails close to dogs from April to October for coyote pupping season.
